Phillips Business Group
The challenge
What stood in the way
Tiffany Phillips had built a strong reputation as a tax strategist, but her website did not reflect it. The site ran on an outdated WordPress build that was slow to load, awkward on mobile, and difficult to update. It looked dated next to the caliber of advisory work the firm actually delivers, and it was doing little to convert the traffic coming from her growing YouTube presence. On the technical side, the site was underperforming on speed, accessibility, and search visibility, which meant qualified prospects searching for tax strategy help were not finding Phillips Business Group, and the ones who did land on the site were not getting a first impression that matched the expertise behind it.
How we approached it
The plan before we shipped
We treated this as a positioning problem first and a development problem second. Before writing a single line of code, we mapped how a high-value CPA client should experience the brand online, then translated that into a design direction. We started in Figma so Tiffany could see and shape the full look and feel before anything went live, which kept the process collaborative and removed the guesswork. Only once the design was approved did we move into development. From there the priority was a fast, clean, fully custom build that would be easy to maintain and genuinely competitive in search, not just visually better than what she had.
What we did
How we delivered
We designed the complete UI and UX in Figma and secured Tiffany's approval on the full layout and visual direction before development began. We then built the entire website on WordPress using a custom theme and custom plugins rather than a generic template, so the site matched the brand exactly and stayed lightweight. We ran a full technical, local, AI, and GEO SEO pass to make the firm discoverable both in traditional search and in AI-driven answer engines. We tuned the site for speed, performance, accessibility, and responsiveness so it held up across devices and scored where it needed to. The complete rebuild was designed, developed, and delivered within two weeks.
Beyond the launch, we now manage the firm as an ongoing partner. That includes monthly website maintenance, monthly SEO optimization, and regular performance reporting so Tiffany always knows where things stand. On the content side, we edit her long-form YouTube videos, handle YouTube SEO to grow reach and watch time, and publish two blog posts a week to keep the site active, authoritative, and climbing in search.
What the client's team noticed
Inside the rollout
The difference was immediate. The new site finally looked like it belonged to a firm of Tiffany's standing, and it loaded fast and worked cleanly on every device instead of fighting them. The two-week turnaround meant the firm was not stuck waiting months for a result. Just as important, the website stopped being something the team had to work around. Maintenance, SEO, reporting, video, and blogging now run on a predictable monthly rhythm they do not have to manage themselves, which freed Tiffany to focus on client work and content while the online presence keeps compounding in the background.
