Anoncn Inc
The challenge
What stood in the way
Anon Group is one of China's larger agricultural machinery manufacturers, with more than twenty years of production behind them and buyers across the globe. Their catalog is enormous and technical, spanning complete rice milling lines, harvesters, tractors, dryers, steel silos, and dozens of individual agro machines, each with its own specifications and use cases. The problem was that a catalog this deep is only an asset if international buyers can navigate it and actually convert into inquiries. The previous setup did not present the range clearly, did not guide a global visitor from a product category down to a quote request, and left a lot of qualified interest on the table. For an export-driven manufacturer, the website is the sales floor, and it was not pulling its weight. They needed a site that could organize a sprawling product line cleanly and turn browsing into real leads.
How we approached it
The plan before we shipped
We treated this as a conversion problem sitting on top of a structure problem. Before building anything, we mapped how a buyer sourcing agricultural machinery actually shops: they arrive on a category, compare within a series, and want a fast, low-friction way to ask for a quote. We designed the UI around that path first and got it approved, so the look and the flow were settled before development. Because the catalog is so large and technical, we knew a stock theme would buckle, so we planned a fully custom build that could handle the product taxonomy, stay fast, and put inquiry actions in front of the buyer at every step. The whole thing was engineered to move a global visitor toward contact, not just to look good.
What we did
How we delivered
We designed the complete UI and UX and secured approval before development began. We then built the entire site on WordPress with a fully custom theme rather than a template, and developed custom plugins to handle the functionality the catalog needed. We used WooCommerce to manage the large, structured product catalog, organizing the rice mill and agro machine series into clean, browsable categories, and wired in the payment and quote-request flow so buyers could move from a product to an inquiry without friction. We built the lead capture and contact paths, including direct messaging routes for international buyers, and made sure the site performed well and read clearly for a global, multi-country audience. It was delivered as a complete one-time build.
What the client's team noticed
Inside the rollout
The clearest signal was in the numbers. Conversions lifted 2.4×, meaning the same traffic started producing well over double the inquiries it had before, which for an export manufacturer is the metric that matters most. Beyond that, the sprawling catalog finally reads as an organized, navigable product line instead of an overwhelming list, and the custom build handles the scale and technical depth without strain. The site now works the way a manufacturer's site should: it presents the full range clearly and steadily turns global interest into real sales conversations.
